Mr. Massey has over forty years of hands-on experience growing and managing both closely held private and publicly traded food manufacturing companies. Mr. Massey began his career working on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade; was an early practitioner in prepared foods with Tyson; turned around an operationally-challenged fats, oils and dressings company called Osceola Foods into an industry leader in new product innovation that was successfully exited to Kagome; turned around a troubled prepared foods business unit for Pilgrim’s Pride into an industry leader in product quality and production efficiency; and launched an industry-leading line of products for America’s Catch. Food products developed and launched on behalf of customers include but are not limited to Papa John’s original garlic sauce, a complete line of patented dry blend shaker cups for McCormick, Jif-to-Go retail portion cups and marinara and salsa dipping sauces for the Oscar Meyer Mega Lunchable program. Mr. Massey holds a B.S. from the University of North Alabama and has completed several Agribusiness and Agriceutical Executive Training courses at Harvard Business School.
Mr. Binkley has been involved with food manufacturing companies for over twenty years, having served on the boards of and successfully exited both Albertville Quality Foods, a poultry further processor, and Southern Quality Meats, a country-style breakfast sausage manufacturer. Mr. Binkley has been a private equity investor since 1996, including serving as Co-Founder and President of Hermitage Equity Partners since 2009. Mr. Binkley holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Chartered Financial Analyst Designation.
Mr. Venter has spent over thirty-five years in the food industry, mostly as an entrepreneurial business owner in both South Africa and the USA. Product experience includes baked goods, nutritional supplements, spice blending and sauces and dressings. Most recently, Mr. Venter purchased the original Flavorcraft business from its founders in 2005 and ran the company as CEO for 18 years until partnering with Hermitage Savory Solutions in 2023. Mr. Venter holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Commerce from Potchefstroom University in South Africa.
Ms. Cox is a registered dietitian and food scientist with over thirty years of experience. Ms. Cox began her career in dietary and nutrition services, where she consulted on food menus for, developed nutritional care plans for and monitored the nutritional status of nursing home patients. Transitioning into food manufacturing, she became a food scientist and Quality Tech with ConAgra Brands, where she helped monitor the production of a wide variety of sauces and dressings products. Ms. Cox then joined Flavorcraft as Quality Assurance Manager, where she has upgraded the quality system from AIB to SQF Level 2 compliance (Food Safety Code for Manufacturing). She is PCQI certified and holds certifications in HACCP, Better Process Control School-Acidified Foods Section. Ms. Cox holds a B.S. in Food & Nutrition from Murray State University, an M.S. in Food and Nutrition from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and an M.S. in Food Science & Technology from the University of Kentucky.
Ms. Preher has over ten years of office administrative experience, including invoicing, collections, material procurement and vendor management / evaluation. Ms. Preher holds a B.S. in Recreational Therapy from Murray State University.
